Universal White
It's where the magic begins
Universal White DIY Furniture Paint Base - Primer & Top Coat All in One
It all begins with a base...
Universal White is highly pigmented for great coverage using only 1 to 2 coats. It contains stain blockers to stop tannins from bleeding through to the surface. Easy to use and water clean-up. It adheres to most surfaces providing they are clean and do not have any waxes or polishes on them. Works well as a Primer/ & Bonding undercoat but also contains plenty of acrylic resin to protect as a Furniture and Craft Paint. For extra protection, we suggest using CraftNique Grande Finale' Clear Top Coat in your choice of sheen.
Universal White can easily be tinted with just a little dab of CraftNique Color Boutique Concentrated Colors to make endless color combinations.
Use our CraftNique Recipe book for easy to make standard colors or be creative and make your own colors.
Universal White self-levels and won’t turn yellow with age.
The possibilities with Universal White are endless.
All CraftNique products can be intermixed with each other to create endless color and topcoat possibilities.
Instructions: Brush Universal White onto a clean, wax free, scuff sanded surface using thin, even coats. Sand lightly with 400 grit sandpaper to smooth out any pigment particles. Allow 2 to 4 hours drying time between each coat and topcoats. Do not use stearated sandpaper or tack cloths. To spray, it may be necessary to thin Universal White with CrystaLac Viscosity Reducer or CrystaLac Retarder – which will thin and also extend the dry time.
